These Terms of Use govern your use of unskewed.news and related applications (the "Service"). The Service is operated by Stason Ventures LLC ("we", "our", "us"), which publishes it as UNSKEWED.NEWS. By using the Service you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the Service.
UNSKEWED.NEWS publishes three kinds of material: a curated live channel, original investigations, and a daily AI bias desk that puts the same news story to five AI models from different companies and measures how differently they describe it.
How each is produced — and specifically where AI is used and where it is not — is set out in our editorial policy, which forms part of these terms.
This section matters more here than on most sites, so we state it plainly. The five model responses we publish are written by AI systems and are reproduced as those systems wrote them. We do not edit them for accuracy.
Those responses may contain statements that are inaccurate, incomplete, biased or entirely false. That is frequently the point of publishing them: our purpose is to show how AI systems describe the news, which necessarily includes showing them getting it wrong. Publishing a model’s output is never an endorsement of it, and no statement made by an AI model on this Service should be treated as a statement of fact by us.
Our own measurements, scores and commentary are our work and we stand behind the method, which is published in full on our methodology page. They are analytical judgements, not statements of objective fact about any company or model.
The Service is provided for general information. It is not legal, financial, medical, investment or professional advice of any kind, and it is not a substitute for primary sources. Do not rely on it where accuracy matters to a decision you are making — check the sources we cite, which is why we cite them.

Our original text, measurements, charts, branding and page designs belong to us. You may quote from the Service for reporting, comment, criticism, research and review, provided you attribute UNSKEWED.NEWS and link to the page you took it from. You may not republish substantial portions wholesale, or present our material as your own.
The Service also displays material we do not own: AI model responses, quoted journalism, embedded video, and third-party images. Rights in that material remain with their owners, and our permission does not extend to it.
The Service embeds and links to material operated by others, including YouTube video and links to the news sources we cite. Your use of those services is subject to their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their content or availability. Linking to a source is not endorsement of it — we routinely link to coverage in order to examine it.
Our newsletter is opt-in and confirmed by email before anything is sent. You can unsubscribe from any edition in one click. We use your address to send the newsletter and for nothing else; see our privacy policy.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any particular content will remain available. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of it at any time.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for any loss arising from reliance on content published on the Service, including AI-generated content. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
If we have published something inaccurate, tell us and we will correct it — the process, and the distinction between our error and an AI model’s statement, is set out in our editorial policy. Write to contact@unskewed.news.
We may update these terms from time to time. Changes are posted on this page with a revised date, and continued use of the Service after that constitutes acceptance.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. The state and federal courts located in San Diego County, California have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
